Richard A. Kear

Mr. Kear practices in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, including appeals, with particular emphasis in the areas of consumer and mortgage finance law. He has extensive experience in consumer finance litigation, including issues involving the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement and Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and other related consumer finance statutes at both the federal and state level.

Rick represents many banks, mortgage lenders, mortgage brokers and mortgage servicing companies, and has been involved in litigation across the country. In addition, he has a background in construction law with emphasis in litigating mechanic's liens and other types of real and personal property liens.

Rick is licensed to practice law in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, and routinely represents clients in both state and federal courts nationwide.
